(Architectural Ironmongers) Ltd

A brief history

Dyson King was formed in 1981 by Jack Dyson and Dave King, both of whom had a great wealth of knowledge about ironmongery from their days at Olbys. The business started life in The Barn, Little London, Chichester. Phil Dyson, Jack's son joined the company in 1982. Dave King left to pursue a sole career in 1988 leaving Jack and Phil at the helm. The company flourished, exceeding all expectations. On the sad death of Jack Dyson in 1994, Phil took over the reigns assisted by his wife Sue. Their son Ross joined in 2003 making it a truly family business. The company has grown steadily over the years and now employs seven staff. As many customers know, Dyson King outgrew their premises in Little London years ago, but it was not until the autumn 2008 did they have the opportunity to move to a more favorable location. They are now trading from Quarry Lane where parking is easier, the premises larger and access simpler!

Dyson King have a wealth of specialist knowledge and are always on hand to offer personal, friendly advice.
